The Department of Home Affairs announced the endorsement of SC 408 to respond to COVID-19 crisis.
The visa allows a person to remain in Australia if he/shehas no other visa options and are unable to depart Australia due to COVID-19travel restrictions.
• remain in Australia to assist in critical sectorsincluding healthcare, disability and aged care, childcare and agricultureduring the COVID-19 pandemic.
